Day 57 – 3D

I took this shot with a 10 second timer on both of my cameras. My old Canon AE-1 Program has been sitting motionless for a few years now and it took the left one. Unfortunately, the color isn’t quite right on it, but that’s the scanners fault and not the cameras. I spent a bit of time making it closer, but it’s still darker than I’d like and I was reaching the point of diminishing returns with editing.

My usual Canon Digital Rebel took the shot on the right. This was setup in the parking lot at the Burlington Mall with both cameras perched on my car, set to the same aperture/exposure/ISO. Honestly, looking at the photo print of the film one, it’s very surprising to see how close the two shots appear.

Since the cameras were position just a few inches from each other, you can put up a piece of paper stretched from between them and your nose to force your eyes to diverge and see the picture in 3D.
