WWII Propaganda Film: Our Enemy — the Japanese (Part 2 of 2)

Stridently anti-Japanese film that attempts to convey an understanding of Japanese life and philosophy so that the US may more readily defeat its enemy. Depicts the Japanese as “primitive, murderous and fanatical.” With many images of 1930s and 1940s Japan, and a portentous and highly negative narration by Joseph C. Grew, former US ambassador to Japan.

This music is J-POP’s first PWL REMIX. It is a chance that Tetsuya Komuro asked British PETE WATERMAN LIMITED for this music in REMIX, and a lot of PWL REMIX of J-POP is produced. In addition, it is music of the extreme popularity from a child to an adult because this music was used for an opening song of Japanese cartoon film “THE CITY HUNTER”. In Japan, it was a large hit to become the first place of the music chart. However, as for most music, upload is not possible in YOUTUBE because a Japanese music copyright is related to PWL REMIX of J-POP. Label:Epic/Sony Catalog#:32-8H-5090 Format:CD, Album Country:Japan Released:1989 Genre:Electronic Style:J-pop, Europop, Hi NRG, WRITTEN by MITSUKO KOMURO & TETSUYA KOMURO PRODUCED by TESTUYA KOMURO ADDITIONAL PRODUCED by PETE HAMMOND (PWL) REMIXED by PETE HAMMOND (PWL) Because an English coined word is included if Lyrics of this music is Japanese, the expression in the English is not possible. Because I listed it in a detailed column of DAVE RODGERS, please refer to English Lyrics of this music. ☆ DAVE RODGERS – GET WILD (EXTENDED POWER MIX) www.youtube.com Dave Rodgers – Get Wild (Lyrics) The wheels’ tires of my car were smokin’ when I got start I was drivin’ through the darkness of the night A cheap thrill, an emotion started takin’ on me I was still frightened for the days to come IT’S YOUR PAIN OR MY PAIN OR SOMEBODY’S PAIN Doesn’t matter if I can live for the girlfriend I love IT’S YOUR DREAM OR MY DREAM OR SOMEBODY’S

Bambi II • LINKAGE [Japanese Anime-Style]

It’s been quite some time since I’ve uploaded a video that isn’t an animash! Don’t you agree? ^_^ (I really hope YouTube doesn’t screw up the timing at the very beginning because of that film mess!) I decided to be different this time and edit this because I’ve had a huge urge to edit to Japanese music lately. Kawada Mami is one of my all-time favorite Japanese artists, and this song inspired me to make a video resembling an opening for an anime series. For a while I was having a difficult time deciding what footage I wanted to use! I started thinking that I should do an animash, but it wouldn’t be as meaningful. The Lion King also fit this song really well, but I think I enjoy editing to Bambi a little bit more X3 Oh look, I used MASKING! It’s only pictures, but still XD I almost never use the masking tool. I may use it a little bit more in other projects after doing this X3 Be expecting more videos like this in the future (but with different movies)! I had tons of fun editing this one! ^_^ Oh, and a HUGE thanks to Vanessa7202 for the raindrop sparkle! I really appreciate it! ^_^ Please subscribe to my backup! youtube.com Song: “Linkage” © Kawada Mami Pitched: NO Clips: © DisneyProgram: Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 Color Scheme: White/Purple/Blue/Green Layers: 19 Time: 1.5 weeks continuous ——————- UNITED STATES CODE TITLE 17 § 107. return of the living dead intro (japanese) DVD

バタリアン DVD 吹き替え版 金曜ロードショー

High camp meets film noir in the psychedelic Japanese movie Black Lizard. Based on Yukio Mishima’s stage adaptation of the novel by Edogawa Rampo. Featuring female impersonator Akihiro Miwa, credited here as Akihiro Maruyama, and a cameo appearance by Mishima himself (see part 8). It was re-released in 1991 and I was lucky enough to see it in New York. I bought the VHS videotape as soon as it was released. The transfer here is from that VHS tape, which has been in storage for 15 years. Sorry about the quality (especially audio), but it’s the best I could coax out of my aging VCR (also pulled out of storage). This movie is long out of print and there’s no DVD that I’m aware of. Guess we’ll all have to wait for the next revival. Until then, I hope you enjoy this YouTube version.

The Japanese Play Song : A children’s song by Jason Lee

Hello everyone~ It’s not quite a sequel but here’s another one. I actually made this because my friend Sam told me that his kids liked listening and dancing to my other vid: OCEAN. I decided to make something that’s more suited for children. It’s a sing-along; you can learn the Japanese Hiragana by reading and listening. I also included some stills from my favourite Japanese and western animations for the kids. – Jason Chords: Capo on 3rd Intro: G, D/F#, C/E, G/D, Am7, G/B, C2, Dsus, G (x2) Verse: G, D/F#, C/E, G/D, C2, G/B, (Am7-G/B-C2), Dsus G, D/F#, C/E, G/D, Am7, G/B, C2, Dsus, G Pre: C2, D, Em, Dsus, C2, G/B Am7, G/B, C2, (Dsus, D, Dsus, D5) Chorus & Instr.: G, D/F#, C/E, G/D, C2, G/B, C2, Dsus G, D/F#, C/E, G/D, Am7, G/B, C2, Dsus, G That’s it! Thanks!
