A few nice japan animation images I found:
SEIKO セイコー Automaton Clock 時計 of the SOGO Department Store on the Sky Plaza in Kashiwa City (Chiba) Japan

This is one of the animated doll clocks that SEIKO made for the SOGO Department Stores. Similar ones can be found in Yokohama and Kobe. It’s a big clock that on the hour opens 25 compartments of dolls dressed in national costumes moving to musical accompaniment of Disney’s "It’s a Small World". Sadly, in 2008 SOGO has stopped the maintenance contract of the clocks as part of a cost-cutting exercise due to bad financial results of the company. As a consequence the animation of the clocks has been stopped since then.
The Clock is mounted above the main entrance of the Sogo Department Store outside the east exit of JR Kashiwa Station.

The purpose here is not to duplicate the original image, from Okinawa Soba’s stream, but to generate an animated gif to assist viewing. Unfortunately, animation is not automatic – to animate you must view the image at original resolution (click all sizes) or simply scroll down.
Okinawa Soba posted several CC licensed stereoimages by T. Enami documenting life in early 20th century Japan (the Meiji period). The original hand tinted image (circa 1898), presented for parallel viewing and showing travellers by a fire, Mt. Myogi, Nakasendo is one of many stunning stereo compositions. This animated gif version exploits motion parallax to give a stereo illusion without eyestrain, to see what the photographer envisioned.
