Video Rating: 4 / 5

Sorry, never mind. Just read about fps and number of frames per clip. Funny how much you can learn by research and trial & error
Whew..I finally was able to render the animation. Is there a way to control the speed? The clip finishes after about 00:00:01, is there a way to slow down the clip so it lasts longer..perhaps 2-3 seconds long?
@ZliisHy23 Yes, exactly. How do you get the text to face the camera 100%..
@tubernery, oh ok, you mean having the text 100% looking at the camera???
@ZliisHy23 Hi, Did you ever figure out the camera view? I’m stuck here as well using my macbook. I used “View – Cameras – Set Active Object As Camera”, but the camera is still at an angle, instead of facing down directly at the object (in this case, the Frchildc” object).
also, you probably know already, but I found the fonts in the “Library/Fonts” instead of “System/Library/Fonts” folder.
@tubernery Blender is completely stand alone software. You don’t need after effects or anything else! It’s open source and completely free and completely legal for all to download and use. They have it available for Pc, Mac, Linux, and even freeBSD. This is why I started doing more Blender tutorials instead of After Effects… because blender is available to more people who want to learn. Download and enjoy! Welcome to the Blender community!
Hi there,
Just a Newb question: Do you need any other system like After Effects to run blender software? And does this run for PC or Mac?
Thanks!
i like the 2001 reference
oops the mist
i got trouble gettting lamp to work
I got it,
SRY FOR THE COMMENTS.
I don’t have a number pad,so how do I get into camera view, because
CTRL-ALT-0 does not work?????
hey man, I don’t have any texts, how come you do???
Helpful video! I do have a question though:
In the compositor, how can you make it put the blur on the text only? Whenever I render the video with the stars in the background, the stars are blurred too, which I do not want.
I remember way back then in the early 90′s using a 3d text logo software for win 95.It was a real shitting setup and animation. I could not go beyond 400×300 I think?
blender is the bomb!!!
@hogietheutuber Go into the user preferences and select emulate numpad, you don’t need a keyboard
Every aspect of your tutorials is Wonderful! Thanks for the time dedicated to making them.
@firechildc The node Compositor changed quite a bit recently, I can’t seem to find the “Filter” nor anything in the “Output” section. Any help?
@hogietheutuber unfortunately you need a numberpad…i tried to do it on my macbook pro and it just changed the current layer. just pick up a cheap logitech keyboard on amazon for like $20 bucks and it should work fine
Well hulk could kill super man but superman could be a pus** and fly away. HULK SMASH
Why does my text come up as just the outlines of the letters and yours is filled?
@firechildc im on a mac and when i try to press 7 it doesnt change my view how can i change it
Very nice tutorial… it help me alot… Do you know how to add greek letters in blender?
Thanks for the Tutorial! I was wondering why my text ended up hollow while yours appear solid?
